Pastor John Fast
Prior to attending the Master’s Seminary in 2007, John had been heavily involved in his local church in Tennessee serving in leadership roles and teaching. Over a period of about three years, John was encouraged by his pastor, friends, and church leadership to pursue full-time ministry, but given the fact that he had a wife and six children, a family business to manage, and a widowed mother to care for, he felt that at that stage of his life such a pursuit was unrealistic.
However, the Lord’s call to pastoral ministry became so overwhelming and irresistible that after much prayer, and with the full support of his family and church leadership, John sold his business and moved his family to California so he could be trained at The Master’s Seminary. While in seminary John led a weekly men’s Bible study and served as a home fellowship leader in the Joint Heirs fellowship group at Grace Community Church under Pastor Jim Pile and Dr. John Street.
After seminary John served a church in South Carolina as senior pastor for one and a half years before returning to Tennessee to plant a church in the Murfreesboro area.
