Welcome to the website of Hilltop Bible Church!

For  our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit;but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men but God, who examines our hearts. – 1 Thessalonians 2:3-4

As a recent church plant in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee area, we are dedicated to the worship and exaltation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every area of our life. We are passionate about the Word of God, and committed to the verse-by-verse expositional preaching of Scripture, the equipping of the saints, and the evangelization of the unsaved. We believe that only the Word of God has the power to change hearts and minds and transform lives, therefore the faithful, in-depth, verse-by-verse exposition of God’s Word is essential to the spiritual health, growth, and maturity of our church. It is both a privilege and responsibility to unfold the riches found in God’s written Word and proclaim the excellencies of Jesus Christ here in the Murfreesboro area and around the world. We invite you to visit the About Us and Articles sections of our web site to learn more about this unique ministry. We are currently meeting in a one room school house in a beautiful rural setting only 2 miles from the Almaville Rd./ I -840 exit until our growth warrants finding a larger facility.  We invite you to become a part of this ministry for the glory of God.

“What God has promised to bless and what He has most used to bring blessing is strict teaching and preaching of His Word….It is through such Bible preaching that times of renewal and reformation have come.” – James Montgomery Boise

“Compelling, convicting, persuasive preaching, revealing God’s mercy and redemption to dying souls, is seldom heard today. The noblest art ever granted to our fallen human race has almost disappeared.” – Peter Masters

“Only let any set of pastors in the world forbear for fifteen or twenty years to preach the peculiar doctrines of the Gospel, and the way will be prepared at the end of that time to receive any sentiments which artful and popular men may be disposed to recommend.” – Samuel Miller (19th century Boston pastor)
