Welcome to the website of Hilltop Bible Church!

For  our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit; but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men but God, who examines our hearts. – 1 Thessalonians 2:3-4

Hilltop Bible Church is passionate about the Word of God, and committed to the verse-by-verse expositional preaching of Scripture, the equipping of the saints, and the evangelization of the unsaved. We believe that only the Word of God has the power to change hearts and minds and transform lives, therefore the faithful, in-depth, verse-by-verse exposition of God’s Word is essential to the spiritual health, growth, and maturity of our church. Our aim is not simply to be just another church in an already over-churched area, but we seek to reclaim and recover the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ from which the mind’s of most professing Christians have been led astray (2 Corinthians 11:3). We are dedicated to bringing the Bible to the Bible-belt. We offer no frills and incentives other than the pure and unadulterated Word of God (2 Corinthians 4:2), which alone is sufficient and “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16). We wholeheartedly agree with what the great 19th century Anglican pastor J.C. Ryle once wrote,

The true Christian was intended by Christ to prove all things by the Word of God, all churches, all ministers, all teaching, all preaching, all doctrines, all sermons, all writings, all opinions, all practices. These are his marching orders. Prove all by the Word of God; measure all by the measure of the Bible; compare all with the standard of the Bible; weigh all in the balances of the Bible; examine all by the light of the Bible; test all in the crucible of the Bible. That which can abide the fire of the Bible, receive, hold, believe, and obey. That which cannot abide the fire of the Bible, reject, refuse, repudiate, and cast away.”
